It is important that the company you choose when commissioning 3D renders have already worked on nice projects, go check their website, or their Instagram page if they have one. You should not pay attention on the design, because this might be affected a lot by different clients but at the quality of the images:

Check if the CGI seems good, if you can read the texture of the materials, if it is properly illuminated, if the frame of the picture seems professional. Check if the proportions of the items seem correct, and check if there are not architectural mistakes depending on your knowledge. It is important that you check architectural details, maybe get help from your architect if you can. I have seen 3D artists making images with marble skirtings for example, which are not a problem to be created on the computer, but would cost thousands of pounds more to the client to be realized in real life. That is why it is important that they have interior designers or architects internally. Choose a professional company that does architectural visualization! Not a freelancer 3D artist that will have to do all by himself and will not, most probably, understand the all process or have someone else to check his possible mistakes in architecture.

Use a company in your own country if you can! You don’t want to deal in the evenings or at night with somebody in a different time zone. And you want to make sure that if something goes wrong you can reach the company that is providing you the images, at least legally within your country. If you think otherwise, at least try somebody who has already proven to be working overseas successfully. Check within their portfolio, website, or Instagram page.
